Experiential Learning in Santa Fe

MVHS students at the NM State Capitol

Who doesn’t love a good field trip?

We certainly do! But what we really get excited about at MVHS is “Experiential Learning” trips. These educational experiences shed light on opportunities around our state.

Thursday, MVHS students traveled to Santa Fe to learn more about our government, experience art and explore options for higher education.

Students started their morning with a New Mexico State Capital tour and an opportunity to see our State government in action. Next they were emersed in master works of art when they toured the Georgia O’Keefe Museum. The day wrapped up with visit to St. John’s College where students learned more about their options for college education in New Mexico. In fact this was the 5th college tour experience MVHS students have had this school year.

At MVHS we strive to provide a student-centered, customized education for all. We look for ways to present opportunities beyond Moreno Valley to better inform and enrich our student’s lives beyond high school.

If you are looking for a unique & innovative educational experience for your high school student, MVHS is the place to be.

Applications are being accepted NOW for the 24-25 school year. Enrollment interviews start March 5th.
